Daryl Hobbs
OWNER
Daryl is is a former professional American football player who played wide receiver for five seasons for the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints, and Seattle Seahawks. He played in the Canadian Football League from 1999 to 2000 with the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Hobbs also played in the XFL for the Memphis Maniax. He was also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2012, Daryl Hobbs took over the head coach position with Robert E. Lee High School in Houston, Texas. Previous to that assignment, Hobbs served as the head coach at Legacy Christian High School for two years in Beaumont, Texas. At Legacy Christian, he turned a winless team to have a 13-8 record and in 2011, his best season, Legacy Christian was within one game of going to playoffs.
Curtis Pippin
OWNER
Curtis has been coaching women's football since 2003/2003 WPFL champions. He also has been the owner and operator of KCP Overhead Crane service in Houston Texas since 2008.
Todd Rogers
OWNER
Mr. Bryan “Todd" Rogers has been doing civil engineering throughout the greater Houston, Texas area for over 30+ years. He is a BIM Manager for Walter P Moore, who is a large firm known for designing stadiums across the country. Mr. Rogers has a proven track record of success for implementing technology to engineering firms to speed up production and accuracy for a large increase of ROI.
Todd has a history of leading a strong team and delivering next-generation technical solutions, improving revenues, margins, and workplace productivity. He has an outstanding record of providing technical support for clients through on-site training and web support.
Mr. Rogers' wife, Angelica Miralrio, has played several years and for several leagues including the following: USPWFL, IWFA, WFA (IWFL), XLeague (LFL), WNFC, WFFN, including several leagues in Mexico.
Shari Ruelas
HEAD COACH
Shari is a Chemical Engineer with over 30+ years experience in the Chemicals and Oil & Gas industries and has a proven record of leading teams. She has been involved in every facet of football from being a player, coach, manager, owner and referee across the pee-wee, high school and semi-pro levels. She started playing women’s tackle football at the tender age of 45 and was named to the pro bowl and served as team captain multiple seasons. She also competes in masters Olympic Weightlifting and Strongman, having been name national champion in both sports and reached the podium at the world championships. Her drive to test limits, challenge herself and her teammates, and to make an impact on the community is what fuels her as the head coach. She is passionate about player development and seeing women succeed on and off the field and is excited to see women's football move into a professional sport.
Ron Spell
COACH
Ron is a former Semi-Pro player with the TX Express, from Brenham, Texas from 2004/08 - 2009/11. Ron played with the Express for 4 years as an MLB and became a co-owner and coach for 3 more years winning 2 championships.
Ron also played arena with the Beaumont Driller in 2008 as a LB.
Defensive Coordinator from Faith West Academy 2014 -2015, going 9 and 3, losing in the Divisional Championship Round.
Coaching Girls Volleyball from 2016 – Present (winning 2 titles).
Alfonso Smith
COACH
Alfonso was the Head Coach for Rapid River High School in Michigan. He also coached Lindon Grove Middle School for four years.
Smith's dominance was unmistakable. Playing as a tight end and receiver, he accumulated over 16,978 receiving yards during his twenty seasons. While playing with the Kalamazoo Tornadoes, he claimed a national championship and notched a runner-up finish. Smith also secured three league titles, two regional crowns, and five Pro Bowl appearances.
As a member of the Kalamazoo Explosion Arena football team, he played in the league's first championship game, specializing in the positions of tight end and defensive end. Smith was also a member of the Grand Rapids Rampage Arena football team.
Smith's prowess as a tight end/receiver shines through, amassing a staggering 16,929 receiving yards, a testament to his reliability and impact on the field.
Alfonso Smith established the Northern Michigan Arctic Blast Semi-pro football team, a football powerhouse where he donned multiple hats as founder, owner, and player-coach.
Smith was voted into the American Football Association Hall of Fame in 2006 as a Tight End. Hw is a proud father of three sons: Simeon Smith, a University of Michigan football alum; Derek Smith, currently serving in the Navy; and Braden Smith.
